Paul was meeting 2 colleagues from past work, so we drove to Salisbury, I wondered round the shops whilst Paul had lunch, having a lovely time, till something that I was looking at fell apart and broke a tacky glass thing and I had to pa the £15 damage, I should of just walked out of the shop when I had the chance, but hey ho, too honest eh?
We sat for a while outside in the sunshine outside a pub, before we drove to Wiltshire to stay with Karin and Jerry, was lovely to sit outside, drink wine, chat, eat, wine, wine, demolish cheese
Sun was shinning again, off for lunch to a pub next to a creek thing. Dropped off Karin and then onto Stonehenge before heading back to north Wales
Found this with a piccie from San Francisco
Tame Percy came for a visit
Popped into the garden centre at Chirk for pots, saw this lovely piece
The day was glorious
Did my show
Tragic coat on Dynasty
Internet is shite and getting very frustrated
Another glorious day
Paul’s new website went live
Joan looked fluffy after hew fight
Coffee looked and was yum
A toilet has never looked so lovely
Took me about an hour to actually spend money
Taken with the colours
Wrote a song called ‘mAy’ with this as my view
Jane and Margaret came to stay, we ate, drank, watched TV
We popped into the tea room by the canal
Saw a lovely VW
Off into a car for a week away, off to Swansea, Gatwick, London, Brighton, London and Eurovision
View from hotel in Swansea, looked nice
What does this mean???
Did my show
My song was on soma FM again!
After my show, we went out to Ask for dinner, 10 minute walk. To be honest, food at Ask was a bit dull and service not great, a recurring theme it seems
Bit floaty thing arrived in the dock whilst we were having breakfast of burnt croissant
Off to the Mumbles before drive to London/ Gatwick
Went into London, Paul for meeting, me for shopping, then we did lunch. Lots of day rabbits at Gatwick, very tame and cute
In Selfridges, saw nice (expensive) stuff, £85 for a candle???
On the monorail between north and south terminals
Paul down to Brighton for couple of days, me into Tower Bridge for a walk down to the memories
Back on the monorail
Down to Brighton to meet Paul in the afternoon. Did lots of window shopping and bought some nice things too, I like the vibe of some of the shops, friendly, unlike London
Back to Gatwick, lovely sign?
Out to Giraffe (3rd time this week) for meal, impressed with the food, friendly staff, atmosphere
Squeak was on top of the world
Over to London Bridge for Eurovision night, great to see everyone, not a golden year for the songs!!
Since the fateful night: Eurovision: Azerbaijan probes Russian ‘nul points’ http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-22600892

Very exciting email arrived

Thank you for submitting your remix for the Competition, I really love what you have done and so sent it off to the label. They are also big fans of the remix and so are keen to release it.
I have sent your email to the label so that they can contact you and try to work out a contract/agreement.
Thanks again for your work, will be in touch again soon
Did my show
Re-potted tomato seeds
Up early-ish final getting ready and off in car to airport, Paul had prebooked space in multi storey car park, but it was full, and had been for the last 2 days, so we drove and drove and drove and finally found a space, hopefully it won’t be raining when we arrive back in the UK
The flight had a James Bond ring about it
The flight was OK, only 55 minutes, bit of bump on landing. There was a hen party on board, jeepers they were shouting, and after landing, screaming as they met with a stag party returning home – the further we walked away, the louder they got!
Bit of walk to get out of the airport, but we did, clearly, straight onto bus, 20 minutes later we were walking up many, many stairs!

Greeted by Martine, unpacked and out for a wander, saw nice things
Looked, like a film star near a beach 🙂
For dinner we found Pompa (snigger) – we drank beer (old skool) and had most delish tomoto soup then yummy burger, tirimisu, coffee, sambucca!
Coffee/ croissants in local bakery. And off out to see Amsterdam.
Was alarming to see a apple computer in an antique shop!
We found the garden cafe, sat outside, had a delish tuna sandwich and watched the world go by in the amazing summer vibe
Saw some very happy flowers
Bought a few nik naks on the way, and found Pastini, a resturnt we first went to about 18 years ago! made reservation for 9.30 pm and headed back to the apartment, via shops and the supermarket, where we found mini vienetta
Had ice cream on the terrace
Did my show:
Shame that my mic failed!
Down the stairs
Paul went to massage, then we met at restaurant later
Paul off to conference
I had a wonder into town, had book shop, record shop, organic shop and art shop on my list. Found Amsterdam museum and walk on art carpet
Saw a relative of Squeak perhaps?
Museum cafe looked great/ relaxing
Amsterdam was very magical with the sunshine, heat, blue skies and the blossom flaoting everywhere like light snow
Popped into Vonglepark for my organic apple, and sit down, looked at clouds, listened to music, thought about my dad, had a little cry, felt better, happy, and was ready to move on
Blossom like snow
Back to the apartment, worked on Mittens, and then off again to find stationers
Car like plant
Hazelnoot! of course!
Love this image
Paul back from conference, out to restaurant, too busy, back to the apartment (up the stairs) and an hour later our again, got table, drank beer ate meat!
Paul off to conference to speak
Weather predicted rain for the morning, so I stayed in and worked on Mittens. Then walked onto Dam Sq to find paperchase and somehow work out how to replace the folder that Paul had written on!
Passed some lovely shops, into Dam Sq, paperchase didn’t have what I wanted, but the assistant said I needed a Scheinhofstarssenaf’ (or something like that) and pointed me in the direction, passed more shops, found a lush fair trade shop and a Mexican one – with very happy/ friendly staff
Eventually found the office supply shop, but they only had the bits and pieces to make the folder, not the folder itself – so I bought a few items in hope that it would work out
Onwards towards a record shop on my list, lots and lots of walking, found a spot for a sandwich, twas OK, not great, but good to sit down!
Record shop, again was OK, and slowly back towards the apartment. Got back in time as the thunder roared and the rain poured – totally different to the last couple of days.
Martine arrived and we left – really liked the place – and the area – tried the restaurant but 30 minute wait – airport – found a restaurant, OK food, passporte, lounge, plane
It is interesting how people like to talk VERY VERY loudly – praise be for noise cancelling headphones
Liverpool, carpark – they tried to charge an extra £65 – but no! – home!
The wild garlic was in mega bloom at the hall – turned into pictures for the snowflAke mAker #fluff album
Time to give my hair the ‘bitter chocolate’ treatment
Printed out and signed contract for Athens remix – exciting!
