The day looked lovely
Good idea to recycle your corks, and ever so festive
Paul started to work on the kitchen
Tried to find out how much it would be to leave 02, not an easy task – constantly on hold on the phone, or if chatting on-line it kept dropping, and then got 2 different answer on how much it would be to cancel the contract one was over £900 and the 0ther just over £400
I hates these, why can’t you add your own question? I mean maiden name of your grandmother??? FFS
What’s not to love about this?
Did my show……
This weeks theme: PLACES ON THE PLANET
Burning more leaves…….
Out to the Food Ecole for Italian night – looks like Christmas has arrived in the village
Food was good, apart from the main where the meat was overcooked – home – fecking freezing – film – booze – more booze…..
Thought this was funny
And we had fog
It predicted snow – but it never came
It was almost 10 years since we saw Eddie Izzard show sexie
Then at 3.30 ish the power went off….. I went into village, other places had power, and I saw the donkey, goose and the goat having a walk together
It was this…..
Christmas and festive at the supermarket
Did my show…..
This weeks theme: SOUP
Getting more viewers overall on the 24/7 radio station
Letters written to Santa
Paul off to Swansea, via Bergerac and London….. his journey was not great as usual
Thought one of my webpages looked good
The fuel arrived, and I was happy about that
On a very very long detour to the French lesson, but the sky looked amazing
Yummy breakfast, eggs, potatoes, tofu
The world was cold, but looked lush
The drive over was lovely
The extensive trolley park
No shrubbery, but did get bird table, and saw lovely plant/ colour thing going on
Great place to get your tyres pumped?
Into Perigueux for coffee/ shops and dinner, it all looked very festive!
Paul looking handsome
Someone is actually selling a Pointless Trophy? but it a tad steep
The window display at Gamm Vert in Thievie
Might try something similar my self
Messing around with a selfie….
Sky looked amazeballs
Did my show
This weeks theme: 12 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS
Time to write the chrimbo cards
Tided up the shelves
Paul off to London/ Birmingham/ Liverpool – and traveling ever so light!
The oil seemed to be going up!
Had and idea for new station/ channel on space dogs radio, messing with ideas
Off to Limoges to pick Paul up – drive home – lunch – bed -nap
Added snow to my websites……
And lo another idea was launched
And so it was the Strictly final, Abbey won, Paul and Nursie (Sophie 4th) – not the most exciting final and we had to endure Suzzanna thingey face
Lots to do….. didn’t stop all day
Did my show
This weeks theme:CHRISTMAS CRACKERS
Booked a table for January 8th at the local Ecole
Into Perigueux to look at shops/ market – bit wet and chilly
Good for your nik naks?
Spent the afternoon getting the house ready
Have been saving the oil from Mollie Stones for Chrimbo
Opened the cards
Wednesday Christmas Day
Woke to a festive house
Snowflakes on the breafast
And the sun came out……
Watched some great comedy TV episodes, Golden Girls, 30 Rock, Big Bang….. great TV
Made the most wonderful eggs benedict, ever!
More, prezzies, Strictly, then time for bubbly and dinner
Watched Strictly Chrimbo edition which was better than expected, dinner, then DR Who which quite frankly was a pile of pants – very disappointed, any kind of science fiction concept just thrown out for the option to chuck everything together and hope for the best/ fingers crossed it works – well for me – it don’t – sigh
My review on digital spythere is so much about this episode i didn’t like/ enjoy – when it comes down to it, i just don’t believe it any more – science appears to be replaced with magic where anything can happen and there is no tension or dramareading through the comments from people, i can see that many enjoyed this episode, and feel emotionally connected to it – this current DR has left me cold – some episodes in the current run i actually feel asleep – i find the writing/ production/ music all too heavy, like eating a really heavy fruit cake (but without the lovely cherries) and chocolate custardi don’t really do quotes, but if i did i would say that someone at DR HQ has to press the ‘less is more’ button
An evening of festivities followed……
Thursday – Boxing Day
Did very little, watched TV and films – ate – drank nothing but diet coke
Planted a ‘person’ on google maps in Iceland and landed here, do you think I will ever be there?
Decided to add some tunes to pitchmystuff.com
Watched Star Trek
Remembered my dads brithday
Even the TV has IT
Watched a double James Bond…… great time to send a tweet!
Drive over to Bordeaux
Did my show
