Lunch, my review

Niarbyl Cafe
Posted 18 Mar 2015
1st time here, stunning location, cafe inside looks welcoming, lovely muted colours. ate two starters, seafood chowder which is the best i have ever had, and i’ve ate a few, and manx kipper – first time for me actually, for lunch didn’t need the kipper as chowder was plenty on its own friendly staff, great food, would go back

My trip advisor review of hotel
Great views of sea, although when i arrived and asked to confirm that my ‘deluxe’ room did have a sea view that i booked, i was told no, but the room did have a sea view, so a bit confusingfor £60 a night, can’t really complain, but a couple of niggles for me werewas on my own in a double room, both beds made a hell of a noise from the springs whenever i moved, not quite a ‘deluxe’ feeling really – and this noise woke me up as i moved in my bed at night – there really is no point in asking to be moved for this one is there as do i have to check every bed first?i noticed that the floor both bedroom and bathroom had not really been hooved, so there were bits of rice/ possible sequins from an outfit on the floor from previous occupants, none of these items were cleaned up during my 4 night stay – again, not a ‘deluxe’ feeling having bits of old food on the floorthe ‘deluxe’ room might also benefit from a fridge perhaps?although lots of bathroom lotions and potions to use so that’s a nice touchoverall, young staff friendly, although some speak so quickly its hard to understand what they are saying. i would stay again as good location, but as the beds were old and noisy i think i would have to know that these had been updated first so that i could sleep better

Completed very long survey for easy jet, a bit of this was

two points:
1 –  i did not appreciate the weekly emails about booking hotels etc in Liverpool as a result of booking the flight – as these emails were nothing to do with my flight they were an irritant  and i did not sign up for these

2 – on the day of the flight, about 2 hours before i was sent an email with the subject ‘important information about your flight’ as this was just about cabin baggage allowance, i do not believe it was OK to have such a potentially alarming subject header

on a final note on point 2, the email re cabin baggage was confusing, it mentioned lots of different card types and schemes that people may be part of to be able to get another piece of luggage in the hold – i do not understand why i couldn’t take 2 bags in the cabin anyway, over 1 week i had 4 flights and easy jet had the least cabin baggage allowance of the 3 companies i used
